It’s time to shake off the dust. Last year was about tinkering and prototypes. This year is about building them right — from the ground up. Let’s talk about the plan.
It’s been a while since I last wrote in the blog. I simply didn’t have time. This year, I’ll try to do better. Besides, I have plenty to talk about. At the moment, I’m working on a few open-source projects just for fun. Last year, I wrote video and music players for myself. They turned out pretty well. In fact, I use them every day and removed all other players from my Windows devices.
However, these apps are more like proof-of-concepts rather than full-fledged applications worth developing further. That’s why I decided to rewrite everything from scratch. Besides, while working on these apps, I realized they have a lot in common. So, I managed to put all the shared parts into a separate toolkit, which made development easier (and more fun). But I won’t get ahead of myself. I’ll write about everything in this blog. I hope to do so more or less regularly, unlike last year.
Happy New Year, everyone! I wish you interesting challenges, happy coding, and fewer bugs!
P.S. Don’t forget to update the year in your copyright notices 🙂
